Antonio Carlini is a Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in software architecture and development across various companies. Currently at Xaar since June 2020, Antonio previously held the same title at MayaData, focusing on Mayastor, a cloud-native data plane utilizing Rust. Prior to that, at DataCore Software, Antonio designed a Kubernetes storage stack in Golang. Experience also includes significant roles at Hitachi Data Systems and BlueARC UK, contributing to SDS platform architecture and multi-CPU environment support, respectively. Earlier career highlights involve leading software architecture design at Riverstone Networks and contracting for EDS, where critical networking software was developed. Antonio holds a D. Phil in Confocal Microscopy and a BA (Hons) in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
