Søren D. Thystrup is an experienced Marine Engineer with a diverse background in boat development and general ship design. Since December 2005, Søren has been working at X-Yachts A/S, engaging in the design and development of new boats, including steel and aluminum fittings, tanks, and fiberglass components. Prior to this role, Søren contributed as a Marine Engineer at Sweco - Danmark, focusing on FEA engineering, general ship design, and computation problems. Early career experiences include positions in technical assistance at F.L. Schmidt and FFE Minerals. Søren holds a Master of Science in Engineering Design and Applied Mechanics from the Technical University of Denmark, completed in 2004.
