Bohan Zhang has a diverse work experience in engineering and research. They started their career as an Intern in the Microsatellites Group at The Aerospace Corporation in 2015. In 2016, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering & Applied Science, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they also interned at Ayar Labs in the Optics Group. In 2017, Bohan joined Boston University College of Engineering as a Graduate Research Assistant, a role they held until 2023. Currently, Bohan is working as a PIC Design Engineer at X, the moonshot factory.

Bohan Zhang completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UCLA from 2012 to 2016. After that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the same field at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2016. Bohan is currently working towards completing another PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Boston University, which they started in 2017 and is expected to finish in 2023.
