Cameron Jones has a long history of work experience in the engineering and medical fields. Cameron began their career in 2004 as a Research Assistant in Medical Imaging, Radiation and Radiation Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 2010, they worked as an R&D Engineer at Therix Medical, Inc. and in 2011 they were a Research Engineer at Exatherm LLC. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital where they were the project lead of the JHU Center for Bioengineering, Innovation, and Design (CBID) Master's project. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Senior Biomedical Engineer and then a Principal Human Factors Engineer at Pfizer. Since 2021, they have been the Director of Engineering at X-COR Therapeutics.
Cameron Jones attended Vanderbilt University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Cameron then attended the University of Kentucky from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. From 2012 to 2015, they completed a Research Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Radiology and Radiological Science, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology.
