Paige Dickson

Principal Research Scientist at X-Chem

Paige Dickson has a diverse work experience spanning various scientific research roles. Paige is currently working as a Senior Research Scientist at X-Chem, Inc. since March 2022. Before that, they were a Research Scientist - Lead Discovery at the same company from October 2020 to March 2022. Prior to joining X-Chem, Inc., Paige was a PhD candidate at Scripps Research from July 2015 to September 2020, where they focused on exploring proteasome modulation and the ubiquitin-proteasome system. During their time at Scripps Research, they published several peer-reviewed research articles, review articles, and a book chapter. Paige also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from April 2014 to May 2015, contributing to the discovery and design of biosensors for protein-protein interactions. Paige also gained experience as an Outreach Research Assistant at Addgene from March 2014 to January 2015. In addition, Paige worked as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University Chemistry Department from September 2013 to April 2014, conducting oxidation experiments and performing protein purification and analysis. Paige also has experience in the retail industry, having worked as a Sales Associate at ANN INC. from April 2012 to March 2014. Paige's early career involved a co-op role as a Selections Technology Co-op at Bristol-Myers Squibb from January 2013 to June 2013.

Paige Dickson pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Northeastern University from the year 2011 to 2015. Paige then continued their education at Scripps Research, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical and Cancer Biology from 2015 to 2020.
