Kate Bailey has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in local government. Kate began their career at Redditch Borough Council as a Team Leader from September 1997 to November 1999. Kate then moved to Worcester City Council, where they worked as a Principal Strategic Housing Officer from November 1999 to July 2009. More recently, they have been working at Wyre Forest District Council since April 2017 as the Head of Strategic Growth.

Kate Bailey obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management Learning & Organisational Development from Birmingham City University. Kate completed their studies from 2003 to 2006.
