John Preston has over three decades of experience in urban and regional planning, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Planning at Wyldecrest Parks since August 2018. Prior roles include Planning Services Manager at TerraQuest and Service Manager Development Management at Bedford Borough Council. John has also held interim positions at South Cambridgeshire District Council and has extensive experience at Epping Forest District Council, where John retired as the Director of Planning & Economic Development. Earlier in John's career, notable roles included Principal Planning Officer at Stratford on Avon District Council. John Preston earned a B.A. Hons in Urban and Regional Planning from Coventry University between 1976 and 1981.
