Abby Nixon is an experienced professional with a diverse background in music coordination and administrative support. Currently, Abby serves as the Assistant to the General Manager at WXPN, where responsibilities include organizing meetings and arranging travel. As the owner and event director of Abby Nixon Strings since 2008, Abby oversees live event music services, managing marketing, talent development, and venue coordination. Previous roles include Reception Administrative Assistant at Greenhouse Internists, where Abby provided administrative support and coordinated care for patients, and Violin Faculty at Settlement Music School, focused on instrumental tutoring and community engagement. Abby's earlier experience includes roles as Executive Assistant and Director of Music at Six Eight Vineyard Church and Section Violinist with the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra and Gainesville Chamber Orchestra. Abby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and Communications from Jacksonville University.
