Michelle Butt serves as the President and General Manager of WXII 12 Triad CW since January 2015. In addition to this role, Michelle is an active board member for several organizations, including Goodwill Industries of Northwest NC, ABC of NC Child Development Center, and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, where Michelle also holds the position of Board Chair. Previously, Michelle contributed as a board member for Ronald McDonald House Charities and served as News Director at WBAL-TV 11 Baltimore from September 2003 to January 2015. Additional experience includes positions with Special Olympics Maryland and roles in local high school leadership. Michelle earned a degree in Mass Communications, Journalism from Old Dominion University after attending Virginia Tech.
