Rebecca Brewer is a highly experienced educator with over two decades of teaching high school biology at Troy School District, where a notable 93% of Advanced Placement Biology students achieved scores eligible for college credit in 2024. In addition to classroom instruction, Rebecca co-authors educational materials, including the high school edition of "Biology Now," and has taken on significant roles in various educational organizations, such as serving on the Michigan Education Climate Hub Working Committee and as an ambassador for multiple initiatives, including CLEAN and the Society for Science. With a strong academic background in biology and education, including a master's degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Michigan State University, Rebecca actively contributes to the advancement of science education through workshops, presentations, and development of teaching resources.
