Shaun Martin is a Senior Project Manager at WWF-Hong Kong, specializing in counter-illegal wildlife trade initiatives since August 2019. Martin oversees workstreams related to Cybercrime and One Health, focusing on developing machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions targeting illegal wildlife trade and zoonotic spillover risks in the Mekong region. In previous roles, Martin has coordinated various biodiversity engagement projects, including the City Nature Challenge in Hong Kong and Macau, and has served as an independent consultant for WWF-Hong Kong. With a strong background in environmental education and policy, Martin's experience encompasses diverse roles in organizations such as Civic Exchange and Conservation International. Martin holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management from The University of Hong Kong and has additional qualifications in Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Science.
