Jerome Thomas serves as the Vice President of ERSSA (Environment Resource and Sustainability Student Association) as of January 2024, demonstrating a commitment to fostering a supportive academic community. At the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA), Jerome has held multiple roles, including Rental Specialist and Social Media Manager, focusing on promoting sustainable transportation and enhancing customer engagement at the WUSA Bike Centre. In early 2024, Jerome led a team in the Accelerate Program at Microsoft, developing a medical diagnosis chatbot to improve healthcare guidance. Previous leadership experience includes serving as School President at the Indian Education School in Kuwait, where Jerome organized events and enhanced student policies, alongside mentoring students for international debate competitions and coaching the inter-school swim team. Jerome is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo.
