Diego León Socorro has a diverse range of work experience. Diego started their career as a Freelance Project Manager at UV Digital Services, where they gained leadership skills and was responsible for various tasks such as project management, sales, and UX analysis.
Diego then worked as a Product Manager at Mobile Media Networks, where they handled product management responsibilities and later transitioned into the role of a Sales Engineer.
Diego also served as the Lead Product Manager at Nekso, a mobile taxi-hailing platform, where they led the Product Management team and was involved in tasks such as usage metrics analysis, requirements gathering, and release planning.
At ForesightGPS, Diego took on the role of Head of Product Management, where they built the Product Management team from scratch and fostered an innovation-centered product development culture.
Currently, Diego is employed at Wunderflats as a Senior Product Manager, with a focus on increasing the trustworthiness and efficiency of the product, as well as reducing users' time-to-value. Diego previously held the position of Product Manager at Wunderflats, leading the Landlord Experience squad and delivering new features and improvements to landlords.
Throughout their career, Diego has developed a range of skills including team leadership, sales, and self-motivation.
Diego León Socorro began their education at San Ignacio Jesuit High School, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. After completing high school, they went on an international exchange program and attended Defiance High School for the 2006-2007 academic year. Diego then pursued higher education at Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from 2007 to 2012. In 2014 and 2015, they returned to Universidad Metropolitana to pursue a Diploma in Service Business Management.
