Christy Dixon is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in public radio. Currently serving as a Corporate Support Associate at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC since January 2013, Christy plays a vital role in securing corporate sponsorships to support the station's programming. Previously, Christy was the Station Manager at News Talk 1360 WCHL from August 2003 to November 2012, where responsibilities included managing a diverse team, overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring FCC compliance, and coordinating local radio show schedules. Christy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1991 and 1996.
