Anita Rao is an accomplished host, creator, and producer in the field of public radio and podcasting, with a strong focus on topics related to sex, relationships, and health. Since February 2014, Anita has been with North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC, where Anita hosts and created the award-winning show Embodied, which explores the complexities of human relationships and health. Additionally, Anita has served as a managing editor and producer for notable programs, overseeing editorial direction and content production. Previous roles include co-founding and co-hosting the feminist podcast Anita & Her, and serving as an editor for Double Shift Media, where focus was placed on the challenges faced by working mothers. Anita's background includes a B.A. in Women's Studies, International Studies, and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
