James Meier has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James started their career as a Signal Support Systems Specialist in the US Army from March 2003 to March 2006, where they were responsible for planning and maintaining communication systems. In 2006, they joined Eddie Bauer as a Sales representative, where they exceeded sales goals and built a strong client base through customer engagement. In 2008, they became a Senior Systems Analyst at Management Science Associates, Inc. and continued in this role for over a decade until May 2019. During this time, they played a vital role in analyzing systems and implementing solutions. In 2019, James joined Wulf Consulting as a Senior Solutions Engineer and later became a Solutions Architect. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Cyber Security at Wulf Consulting.
James Meier's education history includes attending Pittsburgh Technical College from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, James has also obtained several certifications. In 2012, they became a VMware Certified Professional - VCP5 through Pearson VUE. In 2014, they earned a Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA – V) certification from Citrix, as well as a VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization certification from Pearson VUE. In 2015, they achieved the Citrix Certified Professional - Networking (CCP – N) certification from Citrix. Furthermore, in 2018, James obtained the VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization certification from VMware. Their most recent certifications were earned in 2020 and 2021, where they became a Sophos Certified Engineer and a Sophos Certified Architect, respectively, both from Sophos.
