Matthew Dobney is an experienced broadcast professional with a career spanning over two decades in various roles within the television industry. Currently serving as Production Manager at WTVQ since July 2022, Matthew is responsible for overseeing production department employees, organizing production schedules, managing field shoots, and ensuring quality control. Previously, Matthew held positions as Newscast Director at CBS47 Fresno and KOIN-TV, where expertise in directing live newscasts and coordinating with multiple departments was developed. Early career experience includes roles as a Newscast Director and Broadcast Operator at KGW TV and as a Production Technician at TVW. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Washington State University.
