Malikka Nation is an experienced news producer currently serving as the Morning News Producer at WSMV since December 2022. Previously, Malikka held the position of News Producer at ABC 33/40 in Birmingham from January 2021 to November 2022 and worked as a News Producer at Local15 | WPMI-TV from January 2018 to January 2021, producing various shows including the 12 p.m. segment. Earlier experience includes a role as Morning Show Producer and News Intern at WBRC FOX6 News, where Malikka participated in editorial meetings and assisted reporters. Additional roles include a camera operator and assistant for concerts at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater and serving as a Radio Talk Show Host and correspondent at WVUA-FM during college years. Malikka holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and Film from The University of Alabama, earned in 2017.
