Bochong Li is the current Vice President of Innovation at Wren Therapeutics. Prior to their current position, Bochong served as the Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation at Cullinan Oncology from January 2018 to May 2022. In this role, Bochong was responsible for designing and implementing innovation and investment strategy for both internal incubation projects and external deals. Additionally, Bochong led China out-licensing and alliance efforts.

From May 2017 to May 2022, Bochong served as a Consultant at MPM Capital. In this role, Bochong was responsible for venture formation in the immuno-oncology space. Additionally, Bochong built novel therapeutic production and delivery platforms using synthetic biology tools.

Prior to their work in the biotech industry, Bochong worked as a Summer Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati from May 2016 to July 2016. In this role, Bochong advised biotech ventures on IP strategy, patent, and licensing issues. Additionally, Bochong advised VC clients on FDA regulatory guidelines on pain medication and SBA rules on small business entities.

Bochong began their career as a Graduate Associate at Duke University Office of Licensing and Ventures from January 2007 to December 2015. In this role, Bochong was responsible for assisting with the management of Duke University's technology transfer program.

Bochong Li completed their JD at Harvard Law School. Bochong then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. Finally, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and Mathematics from Duke University.
