Richard Ficken has extensive experience in regulatory affairs and contracts management within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Regulatory and Contracts at WPX Energy since January 2012, Richard oversees all commercial regulatory advocacy for WPX Energy Marketing and manages a five-person Contracts Management team. Prior to this role, Richard held various positions at Williams Company from June 1996 to December 2012, including Manager of Regulatory Affairs for Energy Marketing and Trading, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory advocacy in power markets and asset management, and Director roles focused on power development and the liquidation of contracts. Richard also served as the Vice President of Customer Services and Rates, overseeing regulatory affairs and business development for Williams Gas Pipeline Central.
