Shawnia Butler is an experienced reporter currently working at WPDE TV 15 since January 2023. Prior to this role, Shawnia completed an internship at WEAA 88.9 FM from September 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included interviewing, pitching stories, and reporting weather. Additionally, Shawnia served as a reporter for Morgan Now News from September 2021 to May 2022, focusing on reporting, interviewing, and writing scripts under tight deadlines. Shawnia also worked as a news anchor at BCPS-TV from January 2022 to April 2022, managing reporting, writing, editing, and on-air performance. Shawnia holds a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism and Business Management from Morgan State University, completed in December 2022.
