Zhaoyuan Huo is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in controls engineering, currently serving as a Senior Controls Engineer at Woven by Toyota since June 2021, where work spans the autonomy stack including prediction, planning, and controls. Previously, Zhaoyuan was involved with Controls and Motion Planning at Lyft Level5, which transitioned to Woven Planet. Experience also includes an internship at Lyft, a hardware product design internship at Apple focused on product development and compliance with industry standards, and a teaching assistant role at the University of California, San Diego, where Zhaoyuan facilitated mechatronics workshops.
