Tyler La Monda has an extensive work experience in the field of 3D modeling, game development, and virtual reality. Tyler started their professional career in 2009 as a Software Tutor, providing training and assistance in software usage. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a VR 3D Artist at the University of Utah, where they focused on creating virtual reality experiences.

In 2012, Tyler joined Vagrantly Modern Music Video as a 3D Generalist, where they worked on various aspects of 3D production. Tyler then worked as a Visualization Artist and Part II Architectural Assistant at Foster + Partners in 2013, where they contributed to architectural visualizations.

Tyler's experience in the gaming industry began in 2014 when they joined Luminous Marketing & Media as a Freelance 3D Artist. Here, they worked on projects involving organic and hard surface modeling, animation, compositing, and more. In the same year, they also joined 2020 Venture as a Character Artist, responsible for character and environment modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and technical problem-solving.

In 2016, Tyler worked at Gensler as a Virtualization Specialist, focusing on virtual reality and photorealistic renderings. Tyler then joined WHISKYTREE as an Assistant Modeler, where they supported visual effects and content creation across various mediums.

From 2017 to 2021, Tyler joined Toyota Research Institute, initially as a Senior Environment Artist and later as an Environment Technical Director. In these roles, they were involved in cross-functional collaboration, 3D modeling, UX design, game engine development, and more.

Currently, Tyler is working at Woven by Toyota as a Senior UI Software Developer, utilizing their skills in UI development and software engineering.

Tyler La Monda pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Utah from 2009 to 2011. Following this, they enrolled at the Royal College of Art from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Architecture.
