Mayumi Takashima has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Mayumi started their career as a Japanese Language Teacher at AWS Philippines in 2010 and worked there until 2013. Then, they joined Atarasu Kabushiki Kaisha as a School Manager from October 2013 to April 2016. Mayumi then worked as a Qooco Customer Success Manager at Bilingual International from May 2016 to September 2018. After that, at Boost, they served as a Customer Success Manager from October 2018 to June 2019 and eventually became the Director of Customer Success Manager from June 2019 to March 2020. Currently, they are a Japanese Teacher at Woven by Toyota since April 2020.
From 2004 to 2006, Mayumi Takashima attended Bellevue College, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
