Armandt Van Rooyen started their work experience in 2013 as an Electronic Engineer at Process Computing Technology. Their time there was a stepping stone into the professional world, although it came to an end in June 2020. Armandt then joined Realm Digital as a Developer in September 2020, where they experienced significant growth and enlightenment. Working in an agile environment, they had the opportunity to learn and adapt to new programming languages and technologies. This journey continued until April 2023. Currently, Armandt is employed as a Game Engineer at Worldwide Webb since May 2023, but no specific end date has been provided.

Armandt Van Rooyen completed their Bachelor of Electric & Electronic Engineering (BEng) degree from Stellenbosch University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. Armandt completed various courses offered by Google Cloud Skills Boost, including "Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine: Foundations," "Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine: Production," "Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine: Workloads," "Developing a Google SRE Culture," "Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine," "Logging, Monitoring and Observability in Google Cloud," "Managing Security in Google Cloud," "Mitigating Security Vulnerabilities on Google Cloud," "Networking in Google Cloud: Defining and Implementing Networks," "Networking in Google Cloud: Hybrid Connectivity and Network Management," "Reliable Google Cloud Infrastructure: Design and Process," and "Security Best Practices in Google Cloud." These certifications were obtained in July 2022. Furthermore, in June 2022, Armandt obtained certifications in "Elastic Google Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation," "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services," "Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation," and "Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure." Additionally, they completed courses on "Chef for the Absolute Beginners," "Hashicorp Certified Terraform Associate," and "Puppet for the Absolute Beginners Course" offered by KodeKloud in April 2022.
