Tashya Perera has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries and roles. Starting in 2012, Tashya worked for The Eric De La Cruz Hope for Hearts Foundation, where they served as an Administrative Assistant and later as an Operations Manager, responsible for fundraising efforts and managing public relations. Tashya then joined Envision Experience in 2015, where they held several positions including Program Lead, Manager of Product Innovation & Speaker Affairs, and Senior Manager of Product Innovation. In these roles, they focused on program development, data analysis, and building business relationships. In 2018, Tashya was promoted to Senior Manager of Contracts & Program Operations, where they implemented lean practices to reduce costs. Tashya was later promoted to Director of Program Operations before leaving Envision Experience in 2020. Afterward, Tashya joined WorldStrides as the Director of Events and Field Operations, overseeing event management and managing global teams. Tashya then served as the Head of Group Event Operations before being promoted to Senior Director, Head of Customer Engagement Operations. Currently, Tashya holds the position of Vice President of Global Incident Management Operations at WorldStrides, where they oversee the internal incident management team and the global call center.
Tashya Perera studied Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology at Dowling College until the year 2011. Additionally, they obtained a SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2023.
