Guillem Santapau

Guillem Santapau has extensive work experience in various roles and companies.

Guillem started their career in 2009 as a DOP at Sociedad 2.0, where they worked on an interactive multimedia documentary.

From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Back Door Productions and Management as a Web Developer, Motion Graphics Artist, and Video Editor. Guillem was responsible for tasks such as web design and development, iPhone app development, video editing, motion graphics, DVD menu design, book design, and layout.

In 2012, they worked as a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Artist at Backdoor Productions for Channel 4, and later for Sky Arts, where they also took up the role of UI Designer and worked on video editing, motion graphics, DVD UI design and development, and book design and development.

From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Wordpress Web Developer at Themderbolt, where they specialized in Wordpress web development.

In 2014, they also worked at Diari ARA as a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Artist.

From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Imperial College Business School as a Worpdress Web Developer and Agile Project Manager.

Guillem then joined Miltres in 2013 as a Multimedia Project Manager.

In 2018, they started working at Worldreader as a Frontend Developer and later became a Project Manager & Senior Frontend Developer. Guillem'sresponsibilities included liaising with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, planning Agile Sprints, managing the team's workflow, and owning the Frontend for all web applications and tools.

In 2021, they joined Overgroups as a Product Owner.

Throughout their career, Guillem Santapau has demonstrated a diverse skill set and expertise in frontend development, web design, video editing, motion graphics, and project management.

Guillem Santapau completed their Licenciatura degree in Comunicación Audiovisual from the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya, spanning from 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Multimedia Applications from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, which they completed between 2011 and 2013. Additionally, they obtained certifications in AgilePM Practitioner from APMG International in March 2017, Calculation Tool with AngularJS from Lynda.com in August 2016, and JavaScript from lynda.com in September 2015.
