Dan Carlin is the founder and CEO of Worldclinic. Dan has a long history of medical experience, beginning with their time as a physician from January 1989 to August 2008. Dan then became the Medical Director of Nasir Bagh Refugee Resettlement #4 with the International Medical Corps from June 1988 to November 1988. Finally, they served as the Ships Medical Officer and Radiation Health Officer in the US Navy from June 1986 to June 1988, before becoming the founder and CEO of Worldclinic.
Dan Carlin has a residency in emergency medicine from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, a field medicine certification from the US Armed Forces Combat Casualty Care School, an internship in general surgery from Bethesda Naval Hospital, and an MD in medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine. Dan also has a degree in chemistry and philosophy from Carnegie Mellon University and is certified by the Massachusetts Board of Registration and Medicine, the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and the New York Office of Professions in emergency medicine/internal medicine (EM/IM).
