Amanda Westervelt has extensive work experience in various administrative and financial roles. Amanda began their career in 2000 at Wheatland Fire Equipment Company, where they worked in accounts receivable, accounts payable, marketing, and customer service until 2008. Amanda then joined Saturn of Cheyenne as an Accounts Payable specialist for a year. In 2009, they joined Suzlon Wind Energy A/S as a Regional Site Administrator, a position they held until 2020. In 2020, they joined World Wind & Solar as an Administrator. Currently, they are working as the Program Administrator Lead at Pearce Renewables since January 2022.

Amanda Westervelt attended Wheatland High School from 1995 to 1999. After completing their high school education, Amanda went on to study at Casper College from 1999 to 2000. No degree or field of study information was provided for either educational experience.
