Lucas Kelly is a data scientist at the World Wildlife Fund since February 2020, with additional roles including contributing writer for Fangraphs, Inc. and data science instructor at Data Society. Previous experience includes serving as a science teacher at Lowell School, where curricular design and development focused on various grades, and as a lead middle school teacher and researcher at Voyagers' Community School, emphasizing project-based learning. Lucas also worked as a teacher and naturalist at Echo Hill Outdoor School, leading outdoor education for grades 5-8. Educational achievements include a Data Science and Visualization certification from Flatiron School, a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland.
