Trineesh Biswas is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in international trade and sustainable development. Currently serving as a Speechwriter and Communications Advisor to the Director-General at the World Trade Organization since September 2019, Trineesh previously held roles as a Senior Writer in the Office of the Executive Director at the International Trade Centre and as an Economic Affairs Officer in the Development Division at the World Trade Organization. Earlier experience includes advisory and editorial positions at the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development and the International Institute for Sustainable Development. Trineesh holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Cornell University.
