Kamilah Owolabi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kamilah most recently held the position of Director of Total Rewards and People Operations at World Services LLC of Virginia, starting in January 2023 and currently still in the role. Prior to that, they served as the HR & Quality Director at the same company from July 2019 to December 2022.

Before joining World Services LLC, they worked as the Director of Operations at Ewa Enterprises from September 2015 to July 2019. Kamilah also played a significant role as a Founding Member at Granville Magnet School from June 2013 to June 2015.

Earlier in their career, Kamilah worked as a Director at J. Brit from June 2011 to June 2015 and as a Teaching Fellow at Teach For America from June 2012 to June 2014. Kamilah also gained experience as a Business Research Assistant at Fuqua School of Business in 2011.

Kamilah Owolabi completed their Bachelor's degree in Public Policy at Duke University. Kamilah then obtained several certifications including CMMI for Development and CMMI for Services from the CMMI Institute, and Employment Law Certification from SHRM. In 2023, they received additional certifications in Job Analysis and Variable Pay from WorldatWork. Currently, Kamilah is pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, with an expected completion in 2027.
