Ian Pereira is an accomplished health professional currently serving as a member of the Equity in Health Systems Lab since May 2022, contributing to the enhancement of the Canadian health system. Since September 2014, Ian has been involved with the World Medical Association's Junior Doctors Network, focusing on health education, infection control, and telemedicine, with roles in e-Health and social determinants of health. As a co-founder of Radiation Nation, Ian connects the global radiation oncology community through digital technologies. Currently a resident physician in Radiation Oncology at Kingston General Hospital, Ian has also held various project consultancy roles with Health Quality Ontario, March of Dimes Canada, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, developing strategic plans and assessing programs for sustainability. Ian holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Engineering and Economics from the University of Toronto, an MD from Western University, and is a candidate for FRCPC in Radiation Oncology at Queen's University.
