Yiyan Zheng is an accomplished journalist and editor currently serving as the Editor at the National News Center of World Journal since November 2019, where responsibilities include covering New York city and state politics with a focus on their impact on Asian and Chinese communities, as well as investigating issues related to public education and immigrant experiences. Prior to this role, Yiyan worked as a Reporter at Sampan Newspaper, covering politics and community stories in Boston in both Mandarin and English. Yiyan began a career in journalism as a Journalist and TV Director at Beijing TV, co-producing the award-winning documentary series "Chinese Dream: 365 Stories." Yiyan holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Boston University College of Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Waseda University.
