Prior to this role, Juan Carlos held various research leadership positions within WGC, emphasizing gold's role in investment portfolios through innovative strategies and robust analysis. Earlier experience includes a tenure at J.P. Morgan focusing on emerging markets and fixed income strategies, alongside academic roles at The University of Chicago. Juan Carlos holds an MBA specializing in Econometrics and Finance, a Master's in Statistics, and a Bachelor's in Actuarial Science, along with being a former PhD candidate in Econometrics and Statistics at The University of Chicago.
