Vinny Bravo has a diverse range of work experience in the accounting and finance field. Vinny started their career as a Professional Junior Volleyball Player at Santander Brasil. Vinny then interned at S&P Global Ratings and BNP Paribas, gaining experience in financial and accounting roles. Vinny later worked as a Credit Risk Analysis and Front Office Intern at BLADEX. In 2004, they participated in an Exchange Program for Language Study. After this, Vinny co-founded Sophiex, where they held a role as Co-Founder. Vinny then moved on to Deloitte, where they started as an Assurance Associate and worked their way up to Assurance Manager. Vinny also had a secondment as an Assurance Manager during this time. Vinny then joined PwC as a Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Senior Manager. Following that, they worked at EY as a Capital Markets Senior Manager. Currently, they work at World Fuel Services as a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting Projects, and as the Global Technical Accounting Director.
Vinny Bravo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Financial Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas | University of California, Irvine, obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Trevisan Escola de Negócios from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, Vinny has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from PontifÃcia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007. Vinny also holds several certifications, including being a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) granted by the Oregon Board of Accountancy in 2016, Brazilian National Register of Independent Auditors (CNAI) from Conselho Federal de Contabilidade (CFC) in December 2011, and Brazilian Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Conselho Regional de Contabilidade do Estado de São Paulo (CRCSP) - Oficial in December 2009.
