Daniel N. Wachira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and health systems strengthening. Currently serving as a Program Associate at the World Food Programme since November 2024, Daniel previously held the role of Regional Program Officer at Helen Keller Intl, where engagement with county health departments and community health strategies was key. Prior to that, Daniel worked at World Vision as a Program Officer for Health and Nutrition, focusing on integrated health and nutrition projects. Additional experience includes part-time university lecturing at Meru University of Science and Technology and program officer roles at Beacon of Hope and AON Minet Kenya, enhancing nutrition care and promoting healthy lifestyle changes. Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Human Nutrition and various qualifications in project management and monitoring and evaluation from recognized institutions in Kenya.
