Luke Kvarda is a Communications Program Associate at World Food Program USA, starting in September 2023. Prior experience includes an internship at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) focused on global food and water security, a multicultural strategy internship at Beacon Building Products, and a student researcher position at the U.S. Department of State. Luke has also worked as a sustainability research assistant at GEODESIC Innovations, SL, a country conditions researcher at UDC Law, and a guest services associate at Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute. Luke Kvarda holds a double major in International Studies and Spanish & Latin American Area Studies from American University, where studies were completed in May 2023, and graduated from Burroughs High School in May 2019.
