Jay Hawkins has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and management. Jay is currently working as a Communications Lead at the World Economic Forum since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Content at Sulzer from 2021 to 2023 and as a Senior Communications Specialist from 2017 to 2021. Jay also worked as a Communications Specialist at Sulzer from 2016 to 2017.

Before joining Sulzer, Jay worked as a Junior Communications Specialist & Assistant to CEO at Renova Management AG from 2015 to 2016. Jay also gained experience as a Trainee Account Manager/Assistant to Managing Director Corporate Services at Calle Services Management Ltd. from 2013 to 2015.

Jay started their career in the communications field with an internship at L'Oréal - The Body Shop France as a Retail Coordination Intern in 2011. Jay also had a short internship at Barclays Corporate in 2010.

Additionally, Jay had a brief stint at The Body Shop as an Assistant to the Head of External Brand Communication - Europe, Middle-East & Africa in 2013. During this time, they contributed to the production of an internal PR progress tracker and successfully managed The Body Shop Oman Facebook page, increasing interaction by 600% in a month. Jay also wrote press releases for new product launches and The Body Shop UAE 30 year anniversary press event.

Jay Hawkins pursued their education in a sequential manner, beginning with their enrollment at the City of London School from 2001 to 2009. During this period, they focused on their A-Levels, specializing in Spanish, Russian, and French. Following their secondary education, Jay Hawkins proceeded to Durham University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages from 2009 to 2013. Jay'sstudies at Durham University encompassed Russian, French, and Spanish. Building upon their academic achievements, Jay Hawkins further expanded their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master's degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) from 2021 to 2023. This educational journey demonstrates Jay Hawkins' commitment to language studies and their aspiration for a career in international relations.
