Hesham Zafar currently serves as Lead for Digital Trust and Community Lead for Media, Entertainment & Sport at the World Economic Forum, focusing on creating a sustainable media ecosystem by managing high-level communities and driving collaboration on the Metaverse initiative. Previous experience includes roles as Delivery Lead at TD, where programming for IFRS 17 and MiFID II compliance was successfully executed, and as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, specializing in advanced analytics and finance transformation. Earlier positions include consulting at Capco and Accenture, and contributing to investment banking technology at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Hesham Zafar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University.
