Adriana Banez

Practice Lead at World Economic Forum

Adriana Banez currently serves as Practice Lead at the World Economic Forum, a position held since February 2015, where responsibilities include developing a benchmarking tool for inclusive growth and contributing to national strategies through the Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth Labs, with a focus on Latin America. Prior experience includes serving as a Market Economist at OECD from August 2013 to July 2015, conducting cost-benefit analyses and engaging with governmental stakeholders, as well as roles as an Entrepreneurship Specialist at HSBC Global Banking and Markets and as a LATAM Entrepreneurship Executive at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina. Adriana holds a Master's degree in Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
