Christina E. is a seasoned leader in the field of social entrepreneurship and clean cooking, currently serving as the Director of Clean Cooking at World Central Kitchen since May 2019, where Christina engages in international speaking events to promote clean cooking initiatives. As the Founder and CEO of GenteGas S.A. since March 2010, Christina has dedicated efforts to improve families' quality of life in Guatemala by reducing costs associated with clean burning stoves and fuels while empowering women economically. Previous experience includes roles at the USDA Forest Service, The Global Center for Social Entrepreneurship, El Frijol Feliz Cooking School, Go Green Biofuels, and the Oakland Athletics. Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from the University of the Pacific and has pursued education at Diablo Valley College and McMaster University.
