Luis Costa is a Post Doctoral researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since September 2006. In 2021, Luis served as a Climate Change Analyst for the Baltic Environmental Forum in Germany. Academically, Luis holds a Dr. rer. nat in Geography from Universität Greifswald, completed between 2009 and 2014, and an Engineer's degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, obtained from 2001 to 2006.
