Kirsty Coventry is a prominent figure in sports and youth development, currently serving as the Minister of Youth, Sport, Art and Recreation for the Government of Zimbabwe since September 2018. In addition to this role, Kirsty Coventry is the founder of the Kirsty Coventry Academy, which focuses on drowning prevention, skills development, and community upliftment through sports. An accomplished athlete, Kirsty Coventry is recognized as a five-time Olympic medalist with seven Olympic medals, including two golds, and has held various significant positions within the International Olympic Committee, including serving on multiple commissions. Kirsty Coventry is also the Vice President of both the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee and the International Surfing Association, as well as a board member of the World Anti-Doping Agency. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Auburn University.
