John Bailey is a seasoned event and competition production manager with extensive experience in sports event management. Currently serving as the Competition & Event Production Manager at World Aquatics and Event Director at AP Race, John is instrumental in organizing major swimming competitions, including the UK's premier international open swimming event. John has a long tenure with Manchester City Football Club as Matchday & Event Producer, overseeing significant events such as UEFA Champions League screenings and player awards. Notable past roles include producing for UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 and the 2024 UEFA EURO, as well as contributions to prominent swimming events in the USA. John holds a Bachelor of Science in TV Production from the University of Central Lancashire and has a strong foundation in various media-related subjects through prior education at Bury College.
