Mahalet Kefyalew currently serves as the International Services Manager at the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth since January 2023, previously holding the title of Program Coordinator. Prior experience includes a role as Programs Volunteer at the World Affairs Council Austin from April 2019 to May 2022, and various positions at St. Edward's University, including Office Assistant and Research Assistant. Mahalet Kefyalew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies, Political Science, and Middle Eastern Studies from St. Edward's University (2017-2021) and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Global Risk at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies from August 2024 to August 2026. Additionally, Mahalet studied Migration & Transnational Identity at the School for International Training in Morocco from January 2020 to May 2020.
