Treff LaPlante is an accomplished entrepreneur and industry leader, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of CitizenDeveloper and WorkXpress, roles held since August 2002. At CitizenDeveloper, the focus is on expanding software development to non-technical users, while WorkXpress is recognized for its end-to-end visual systems administration and software development environment, making it a unique Platform as a Service (PaaS) in rapid application development. Treff LaPlante also contributes as a Board Member for the Consortium for Digital Enterprises at Penn State University, advising on digital transformation and enhancing research and student experience. Prior professional experience includes directorial roles at Ebay-HomesDirect and Vivendi-Universal Interactive. Treff LaPlante holds an M.B.A. in International Business from Pepperdine University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
