Gabriel Guarin, once a Workshop/APD intern, joined the team full time as a designer after completing his Master of Architecture at the University of Minnesota. The Bogota, Colombia native always had a creative streak, studying studio art and communication studies at Hamline University during his undergraduate studies while playing on the school’s tennis team. His experience working with sculpture would eventually lead to an interest in architecture, which he found could satisfy a similar artistic impulse. The ability to hone creativity in new ways with each project along with endless opportunities for change and adaptation excite and inspire Gabriel. An avid climber, Gabriel spends his weekends outdoors or practicing on the climbing wall he built in his house.
