Mariana Marques has work experience that spans from 2014 to 2021. Mariana started their career as a Research Trainee at the Instituto Nacional de Saúde Doutor Ricardo Jorge in August 2014, and later became a Research Fellow in October 2015. Mariana worked in this role until July 2018. In November 2018, Mariana joined Speculum - Artigos Médicos, SA as an Account Manager and stayed with the company until August 2019. From September 2019 to September 2021, they worked at VORTAL Connecting Business as a Key Account Manager and Consultant. Currently, Mariana is employed as a Senior Account Manager at Workplace Options, starting in September 2021.

Mariana Marques obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, which they completed from 2009 to 2013. Mariana then pursued a Master's degree in Human Biology and Environment from the same institution, which they completed between 2013 and 2016. Mariana Marques further expanded their education by completing an Executive Master's degree in Business Administration from INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education from 2018 to 2019, focusing on Management.
