Shirish Bendre has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years. In 2001, they founded WORKMETHODS Solutions Inc., a global IT company providing IT Strategy, Turnkey Solutions and Managed Services to clients in Telecommunications, Higher Education and Healthcare markets. Shirish has served as President/Founder, Professional Services for 15+ years, providing strategic management consulting to clients as well as technical leadership to complex technology projects. Shirish has also built and managed an Offshore Development Center in Pune, India with over 60+ IT professionals.

Prior to WORKMETHODS, Bendre worked at ICG Commerce from 1999 to 2001 as Regional Director, Professional Services. Before that, they were Principal, E-Commerce Practice at Intelicent, Inc. from 1997 to 1999. During their tenure there, they provided leadership and direction to several strategy, systems integration/E-Commerce projects for Fortune 1000 companies, created a new revenue stream by establishing and managing an E-Commerce practice which generated $8.5MM revenue with 45% gross margin, and increased profitability by efficiently managing an organization of 25+ employees and contractors.

Shirish Bendre obtained their MBA from Columbia Business School in 1999, a BE in Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 1987, and attended St Xavier's High School from 1971-1981. In 2021, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, and in 2019 they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
